In dreams, Son sees his father's face
How oft, we'll never know
A scowl and a frown sear his soul.
He turns away and fails to see
The love Dad dared not show
For fear that he'd break down - cry openly.
We all could see. Except him.
Dad's gone. He looks on helplessly
Unable to reach down
... and make him whole.
If only Son could see
It's there for free - it's just for him...
Look to the skies, My love is written there
Feel the rain fall, My tears drench your hair -
Open your heart - sunshine and healing are free!
Your father's love is lost - and found - in Me.
